We're going to a high school football game at The Star at the end of August. Sounds exciting and all, until I start thinking about concession prices at Jerry World. Can we expect that at The Star as well?

You can't go 2.5 hours without water in a climate controlled environment?

Few years I went to the Star for dinner at one of the restaurants... there was a hs grad. ceremony taking place that night.

Traffic, congestion on all the streets in/around the Star complex. I bailed and had dinner somewhere else.

Don't know what it's like for hs football games... but advise to get there early.

I've spent the past couple years going to my son's games there. Do yourself a favor and go eat at Sky Rocket Burger about a 1/4 mile north of the stadium.

Drive 1 minute over and enter the underground garage from the west side of Cowboys headquarters on Gridiron Rd. Take the escalator up one level to the plaza and you're there.

Not sure why you would eat crappy stadium food.

It's nothing like graduation days. Park underground and take the escalator right up. Piece of cake.

Are you talking about the lot labeled Cowboys parking garage? I assumed that was for employees.

Yes that's the one. It's a public garage and actually has two levels. I have actually used it to park my daughters car in overnight one time when the hail prediction was through the roof (and the next morning when we went to pick it up there were hundreds of cars that had done the same thing)

Rumor has it Jerry Jones will be there for the coin toss. I'm hoping I can either shake his hand, or slap him upside the head.

Thanks for this! I used the garage on Saturday with no issues and avoided walking through the majority of the rain. Really convenient!
