My wife and I just had our first. I'm looking for someone that's had a great experience with a maid/housekeeper/nanny that we can trust and work with long-term. We're in Dallas around white rock. I really don't want someone from one of these chains like Molly maids, would rather basically hire someone part time. A few days a week to clean but also help with laundry, dishes, maybe even bottle feeding etc.

Am I looking for a Nanny at this point? Terminology is new to me I guess. Either way, if someone has had a good experience and wants to make a referral, let me know.

We found 2 good ones through care.com that worked out for us for several years. Found one bad one and several meh. But overall it was fine. I would have rather have found someone through personal recs as well, but this was a surprisingly not bad experience.

Willing to pay you say? I didn't realize there were house keepers willing to work for free!
