Looking for recommendations for a fence company who can handle restaining, fixing/replacing an existing sagging gate, and potentially adding an additional gate at a side yard. Located in Plano. Received a quote earlier this year from a contractor who was working in the area and dropped by unannounced; they quoted around $1,400 for the restaining alone but I have no clue if this is a going rate or not.

This guy built or added gates to almost every house in my alley. He's done repairs for us, very responsive and reasonably priced. Not sure if he does staining, but curious as ours needs it after 6-7 years.

How many linear feet? And did that include stripping first?

We just had a similar project completed. We've used https://www.blackwellfencing.com/ 2x. They replaced sections, replaced a gate, and some other repairs. Just had entire fence stained a couple weeks ago by https://www.premierwoodcare.com/. Chuck is a good dude, very easy to work with and we are happy with the result. It was about $1450 including a heavy hypo wash. Follow-up touch ups are free.

Used Matrix fence out of Princeton. Family ran business.

320'. Gate adjustment. Few board replacements. Readyseal stain. $2400. Thought that was pretty good.

Also included hand staining my kids playset. Fence was $2200
