You can find a place CLOSE to Addison for cheaper. Look south of Belt Line around Montfort. The Courts at Preston Oaks, Century Park, Montfort Place.

A buddy of mine lived at Montfort Place a few years ago. He said the units were nice and the place overall was quiet, outside of the typical apartment noise/parties/weed smell.

An 700 sqft 1/1 there is $989/month and is literally a 5 minute drive to Addison

My first apartment was at The Courts! But back in 2011. We liked that area.

Ah Addison. Get a rent house in farmers branch with roommates.

If he's looking to pick up some strange, tell him to to start his evening at Dukes. This is a must. Dukes.

Next stop is Sherlocks, Blackfinn after that or maybe Quarter Bar. If still no luck head back to Dukes. Should be damn near 2 by now and if he can't hook up before the 2am lights come on at Dukes he's gay. Nothing wrong with that. Repeat above and adjust target.

For a slower night I'd suggest Flying Saucer or Blue Mesa or Addison Circle.

Addison Point a great date spot. Smoky hole in the wall bar with those newdie video puzzle game thingies. Great burgers.

Oh and if he's a frat or corps guy send him to Pete's. Gonna need a s ton of cash to make sure the aggie war hymn doesnt lose.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there's plenty of crime in Addison but most of it probably the petty, vehicular type close to Belt Line.

The Police station is on east side of airport just south of Keller Springs. Maybe try and get close to that.

I noticed during Covid that there always seemed to be some kind of police presence at some of the less expensive hotel/motel spots off Belt Line.

Vitruvian Park is also a nice area in Addison with some new apartments. Also right next to a long walking trail adjacent to Brookhaven Community College.

Vitruvian West apartments are right there on the trail I believe

Thanks, that's exactly where I am wanting to find a place.
I found an agent who has a lot of listings there, price is around 1700 give or take.

Several of my coworkers live at the Jewel on Landmark including my assistant. It's a pretty new building. Technically it's Dallas but just barely outside of Addison.

Not to cause a stir, but multiple friends moved out of this area specifically due to safety concerns. One included a break-in in broad daylight, and another included an alleged stalking incident. I would strongly recommend avoiding this area (which stretches essentially from 635 at the south to Belt Line at the north). For apartments, stick to either Addison proper or generally stay west of the Tollway/north of Belt Line. Also, if you're looking quite a bit north of Addison proper, avoid most apartments sandwiched between Frankford and PGBT along either side of the Tollway. There is a reason why these apartments are cheap.

Interesting, good note! I'm sure things have changed. I said "a few years ago" that my friend lived there, not realizing that it's now been about 10 years.

I knew down near Spring Valley was a mess near Valley View, but I haven't been down that way in a bit

I work right by Addison circle and I'd say it's pretty nice overall. No clue on actual apartment quality.

But if they're working in Carrollton you can probably get pretty nice digs in Carrollton for the same price as average Addison. Very popular area.

There's some pretty new apts near old downtown Carrollton that look nice. Right by the train tracks/dart rail might be only negative. There is Carrolton police and fire there as well and they are visible. Close to Babes Chicken and a brewery that's pretty nice.

My sister lived at Montfort Place for a year in 2000. I texted her after I saw your comment and asked what her rent was back then. She said she paid $820 a month for a 1/1 in 2000. Crazy that the price hasn't changed that much over the years.

Any reason it must be Addison? Depending on where in Carrollton, she could live just about anywhere along the tollway and be at work in less than 20 min.
