Actually nvm. I found some good info on an older thread so feel free to delete this thread. I'll try Energy Ogre if that's a thing.

This is what I've used for the past several years -- it gets into a little more detail than powertochoose if you have 12 months of monthly data.

Once you put in your data, it shows you the estimated costs of various plans, and then you pay at one-time $10 fee to unlock the provider info.

I use this one as well. Basically same thing as Energy Ogre except you have to do it yourself.

Thought this might be interesting to the thread simply for context. We moved out of state and into a regulated market (NM) so there are no options other than the state option. This is what we pay:
Not sure what market in Texas is running at right now. Last time I looked it was 15c when >2000kwh

I've lived in regulated states and have never noticed any significant different in price, reliability, or service than in Texas. At least for me, the only difference with the deregulated system is having to go through the hassle of picking a new service every year or so. It isn't a huge deal, but it is a bit annoying.

EO can work okay if they have history in the first instance. At least that is what I found. I also felt that they dropped the ball on the ongoing basis game. They claim to be constantly checking things, but I ended up with pretty damning evidence that they were not doing that on my account and eventually dropped them.
I actually used AI to help me analyze my usage and plan options this year after years of using powertochoose. Made me think that powertochoose is as much of a scam as anything else. Spending an hour or so working through it with AI had yielded me savings of about 30% so far. Mostly from staying away from the incentive based plans that powertochoose seems designed to route you into.
