Looks like hot, sweaty misery until at least October. Hopefully my kids can hold out until then.

Ticket prices seem…reasonable.

That's what I thought, but it kinda makes sense. There really isn't all that much to it compared to the other Universal parks. Its little themed worlds with some meet & greets and some small rides. They've gotta make it more affordable to get the families in the door.

Can't be as dependent on the part of the theme park consumers that go for big rides like they have out in Florida.

Yeah, prices were pretty well marked here, based on what we know.
Obviously the park isn't fully done and no one has attended to see if that remains true. I do hate the blockout dates for the Silver pass, which are ridiculous if they arent going to release a gold pass or something to offset those, but oh well. Hopefully something they improve later.

Ive been looking forward to this since they announced it in January 2023, knowing my son (who my wife was pregnant with at the time) would be a good age by the time it opened, and he (and his younger sister now) is going to have a blast.

It's obviously not going to be Disneyworld or Universal Orlando, but it looks like it will be a pretty decent value park in town.

I plan on our family group going on a weekday in late July to check it out.

July 1 is a horrible time for an opening. They should delay it until October 1. Thankfully my kids are all adults.

It's to catch a few weeks of the world cup. The original timeline was May to be open for the full world cup, but they had a few delays along the way.

It's a great way to get people from across the country and even international to go to a fairly small park while in the area and then talk about it when they go home.

$129.99 + meals for 12 months is pretty damn cheap day care for those who live close. a local school should offer to bus kids to make revenue over the summer.

Ghetto daycare is what ended Astroworld in Houston.
