I've only seen hairline scars my friends after healing, unless they naturally ketoid.

My friend used dr Patornella for a full tummy tuck, augmentation and diastitis recti repair. It was painful but she looks amazing. Have seen the results right after then months and a year after. She looks amazing but has an entirely new belly button.

Dr Cairivino died recently but his replacement surgeon is supposed to be amazing.

Mine looks fantastic, but the scar is still pretty noticeable. That may be a function of my skin tone and the way my skin heals though. I tend to scar easily, and they stand out on my skin (I'm pretty pale).

I was fortunate in that I did not have to have a vertical incision under my belly button. That makes it less noticeable, too. I also didn't have to have any reconstruction of my belly button, so that doesn't look weird.

Having the DR repaired was the best decision I ever made. I was having a lot of pain and discomfort from it, and my quality of life has improved dramatically since the surgery. I didn't find recovery to be painful, more just uncomfortable. Even 2 years out, it sometimes still feels weird (mostly numbness, which is expected).

But, I will say, I just tend to think it's obvious when a woman has had a tummy tuck or breast implants. It just doesn't look natural to me. Some people may not be bothered by that, and some people may even think it's attractive. I'm one who thinks it looks great when you have clothes on but obvious you've had work when you don't. Just personal preference.

What's a typical budget for the "mommy job" from a good surgeon? The Mrs. wants the tuck and as she says she "wants her boobs lifted and refilled like they were before kids."

Dr. Sukkar says $6950 for cash/credit price for breast augmentation. I would imagine throwing at least 10 grand on top for the tummy tuck, just depending on how extensive the job. That part is just a guess though.

You're not far off. My tuck was just under $11k. You'd probably get a "discount" for doing both at the same time, since you only need anesthesia once.

I want to say the mommy makeover (tuck+boobs, not sure if it includes a little lipo) with Dr Lind is around $16k. But I didn't get a quote.
