He cost Houston an NHL expansion team in the late 90s, then forced out the Aeros, all over petty grudges.

Les never got over the fact that the Aeros owner (Chuck Watson) had operating rights to The Summitt which meant the Rockets had to pay rent to the Aeros until the Toyota Center was built.
