I've been to one of their weddings.

the scary thing...one time at the stoplight at I-45 and Clear Lake City Blvd...a father & daughter were standing on the median...and a car in the far right lane signaled that they wanted to buy a flower.

the father started walking across the lanes of waiting cars...and about 5 seconds later his little girl started following him. It was very difficult to see her. Fortunately the light stayed red throughout the transaction.

They definitely bank. I saw an older, well dressed woman with a sign that said "I have 3 grandchildren. Need milk, diapers, and clothes." I saw at least 3-4 cars give her cash in the one light cycle I was stopped. She must make $75-100/hr.

I've seen this at a Kroger in Beaumont a couple of times. So odd.

I used to see a guy selling cold drinks at the Hwy 90-Beltway intersection in North Shore. I was tempted a couple of times.

I saw a group of gypsies try to rob an elderly Chinese couple at the Fiesta on Gessser/Bellaire. They are here and not just selling "Dead Sea Salts" in the Galleria.

There's a ****ing guy with a crew of live chickens selling flowers and random carnival prizes at the willowbend/SPO intersection.

No better way to be introduced to the neighborhood.
