How long do you want to ignore this user?
I'm trying to remember the name of a restaurant that was on the 2nd or 3rd floor of Galleria I (the one with the skating rink). It had dark paneling inside with a long bar. It was open as late as around 2012 or so. I don't know how much longer it was there after that.

TIA

It's the Daily Grill

Fun fact

There are 2 Bennigans in Texas

Monahans and Borger

I have eaten at both while traveling for work, it wasn't really intentional but there isn't much else to eat in either town besides fast food

The steak section of the menu is branded steak and ale too

Grew up in Dallas and loved the Magic Pan. That was a fancy night out for my family.

Shucker's oyster bar? Great hangout while the wife shopped 15-20 years or so ago.

This is also what I was thinking.

With 400 retail stores, the 2.8-million-square-foot Galleria attracts about 26 million visitors annually. That's about 70,000 shoppers a day. About 30 percent of shoppers are "internationals," says Nicole Davis, director of marketing
Nicole would get cancelled for calling a person of extra-American origin an "international."

In 2024, the preferred nomenclature is "global citizen."

I haven't been since Christmas 2022. I used to enjoy taking the kids to see the big tree, ice skate and do a bit of shopping and food court. It was getting pretty stabby and hoody and crappy then, so we skipped 2023. Can't imagine ever going back unless there is an El Salador-ish total clean-up.
