D drop off and check in with United at D. Walk across to E.
It's horrible...arrived to the onsite Terminal C parking garage a while back just over two hours before my flight. The signs on each level indicated plenty of open parking spots but they were all wrong...I drove around and could not find a thing. Decided to exit to go to an offsite lot and shuttle back, but got stuck in gridlocked traffic for a good half hour or so on the way. Then check-in and security was obviously a cluster F. I ended up being a little over an hour late for my flight, but luckily it was delayed by 3 hours so I had a couple hours to spare in which I could regroup.CDUB98 said:
That entire airport is just a constant fustercluck at this point. The construction never ends.
You can park A, take underground train to any of them with checked bags. That is still connected. Although the walkway from C to B in the terminal is not longer there.Diggity said:
It's been a few weeks, but I think I was just parking at A and taking the skytrain to D.
Doesn't work if you need to check a bag

Flying out of A on Saturday around noon. Y'all think ecopark2 will be okay, or should I park more off-site?
IAH is a mess right now. Took an hour from calling my Uber to get to this point. Some of the worst airport traffic I’ve ever seen in Houston pic.twitter.com/FCD2dfh1Rg

100% You can check bags in B for any United flights, even international out of E.MAS444 said:
And we can definitely check bags at B and fly out of C? Pretty sure we've done this before...but want to make sure.
I dropped my husband off at C yesterday and it was quick and easy.MAS444 said:
Flying out of C tomorrow at noon. Taking Uber to IAH. What's our best play for drop off, check in and getting to C?
It's a hit/miss situation and It depends on the time of the day. If you go there in the 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. or so window, expect it to be a cluster because that is the timeframe when you have multiple jumbo jets international arrivingRyan the Temp said:I dropped my husband off at C yesterday and it was quick and easy.MAS444 said:

No more checking bags for this mas. Everyone gets an Away 4 roller bag to carry on and a backpack.MAS444 said:

Wifey complained at first but now she's good with it. Has made traveling so much easier.
I am assuming we put the Williams Brothers Gulf Freeway project team in charge of the airport construction based on the level of CF they have achieved and the neverending duration.CDUB98 said:

here's a nice little secret for everyone. Walk past all these people waiting on their Ubers to the taxi stand at the very end. We did it on Saturday night and had a taxi in five minutes. Price of taxi was $25 less than the Uber prices being quoted on the app.BoxingAg84 said:IAH is a mess right now. Took an hour from calling my Uber to get to this point.
