Police in Houston have arrested two migrants from Venezuela for the murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, who was lured away from home, then strangled and dumped in a bayou.

One of the suspects crossed the border illegally less than a month before the shocking murder, and was released into the US after claiming he feared for his life if he was sent back to his home country, sources told The Post.

Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, were charged Thursday with capital murder.

Where are the "mostly peaceful" protestors for poor Ms. Nungaray?

Officials in Washington are just as culpable for her death as any cops were for George Floyd. More so. Yet I'm sure they will sleep comfortably. It's sickening.

probably a rhetorical question, but it is because they were too effective and actually deterred wrongdoing.

The people who were against public hangings are cut from the same cloth of those who give $1 bonds or PR bonds to known violent offenders.

The left would have you believe hanging is taboo because of some slavery-related laughable canard. In reality hanging was a cheap and effective method of deterring crime all over the world for thousands of years before globalization and class warfare became a popular method of undermining the premise of hard work, accountability and the other good things which have made western civilization functionally excellent for many years.

KHOU is the ONLY station mentioning that DHS is "working to determine if they are legal residents" and they're the ONLY station to mention this young girl being raped.

Seems ABC and NBC are holding back on us.

Well, when they emptied their prisons and sent them all north, it wasn't like the cream of the crop were coming here.

15 years ago it was one of the nicest countries in Latin America and was very wealthy. Socialism basically destroyed the country.

If you can't figure out how mass importation of another culture has dramatically altered Texas culture, no one on a message board is going to persuade you otherwise.

As far as healthcare, here's a link. As of 23 years ago, it was already costing taxpayers >$100million a year for Harris County alone. My quick napkin math adds that up to >$2B since 2001. So 'billions'

Alas, it will never happen. And there is really no good reason for executions to NOT be publicly conducted.

I'm a firm believer that if proven guilty, beyond a reasonable doubt, of severe violent crime, you should be sent to South Africa, be covered in seal guts, and towed behind a boat in Great White Shark waters. Live-stream it. Violent crime would plummet.
