Help me unlock the mystery ...

1) I am a CAVA fan and go a couple of times a month.

2) This past weekend I was at Mia's Table in Cypress. They were brewing fresh ice tea and placed an empty, clean cup over the handle to symbolize that the tea was brewing. My kid said, "Hey look, that cup is from CAVA!" We thought it was weired, but didn't ask any questions. They were still hading out white styrofoam cups for drinks.

3) I went to Liberty Taco today on Richmond / 610. Ordered a fountain drink with my tacos. Once I walked outside, I realized I was given a cup from CAVA!?!


My only idea is whoever orders / produced CAVA cups for Houston ordered way too much and they are selling to other restaurants for a discount.

Help me unlock the riddle!

Seen a lot of CAVA cups sitting on front porches in The Woodlands lately. People who know, know.

But also, I think all restaurants are owned by like 5 investor groups and supplied by about 3 other companies that the aforementioned 5 are in debt to.

They probably got a discount on cups from the vendor.

I went to Dick's sporting goods to get a cup to protect my nads (because where else would you go for that?) and all they had were Cava cups. Kinda weird.
