Driving home before around hardy tollroad was fun when they changed to 2 lanes but now they've done both directions. Gong down to 2 lanes around hardy.

Any idea how long or what they are doing?

I rarely take the Beltway - usually only if Google Maps tells be to because of some issue on 45 and the Hardy.

Last time I took it, Hardy was closed and traffic was supposedly backed up on 45 with a 30-45 min delay.

I took the Beltway as suggested, and I can't believe I paid money to drive on that. Down to one lane between Channelview/Deer Park, and the entire roadway felt like I was driving on rumble strips. Absolutely terrible, and in the end, I don't think it saved me any time because the speed limit is down to 20 in that area.

I just passed through coming from 59 and that closure looks like it's going to be there for a while. I can't imagine what it looks like at rush hour. It wasn't too bad at noon but still not great.
