What's the going rate post-hurricane? Need someone who will use cedar planks.

In my neighborhood (Greatwood Sugar Land), with are 100th in line, said not really supply chain because they can't get any supply rn.

Near the loop so possibly higher price, but my neighbors and I were getting $45-$48 range for 8 foot fence, 3 rails, a cap, 12" rot board Western Red Cedar

I had checked the price April 1 and it was $46

I've got one person in line for my power auger but more than happy to let someone else use it if they want to save some money and build it themselves.

Near loop and got quoted $35 for 7'4". All other details were the same.

Talking to him today they have about a 3 week back log, and around $30/foot for Western Cedar, in the Sugar Land / Greatwood and surrounding areas.

Where are you located? We used Greg Luby last year for our fence. He was second cheapest, he's insured, he was prompt, finished it same day, and there was no language barrier with his workers IYKWIM.

Ended up getting it for $31/ft, with 6' planks, single rot board, and 3 2x4's horizontal. Not sure what the multi-page contracts are about. It's just your basic ubiquitous neighborhood fence.
