We have been wondering what will happen to the building Marathon is currently in after the COP acquisition is completed. I have heard COP will not be taking the building. I believe Marathon set up the building as a lease.

Dow is not what they used to be.
Dow hasn't been what they used to be in over 30 years now.

When they shuttered and demo'd Mag 1, the downhill slide started and it really hasn't stopped since then. Half of the plant is Olin now.

Best friend's dad is a retired engineer from Dow.

He said long ago "they need to fire the entire board of directors. It used to be research chemists and engineers and people who understood what it took to build a petrochemical company.

It's all lawyers and bean counters now. Get rid of 'em."

He wasn't wrong.

It is weird driving by the plants and seeing the names of other companies on vessels and towers and buildings.
