This is the grammar and professionalism of our Dear County Leader.Quote:

She's so stupid. I know it is just talking-out-of-her-arse bravado publicity stunt, but playing it out:CDUB98 said:This is the grammar and professionalism of our Dear County Leader.Quote:

No, but it's REALLY tough on families who are already financially strapped, often because the breadwinner is incarcerated. You can make snide remarks, but if you've ever been in the system, you see how devastating it can be to remove jailed people from any support network. This has nothing to do with being tough on crime, which I support. It has to do with being stupid on crime, and doing things that are counter-rehabilitative.maroon barchetta said:

Today we honor the hard-working folks of Harris County who keep our community moving forward. Your contributions are the backbone of our county!

Curious, when they do this do they leave a crawl space and turn garage into bonus room, or raise everything?Jock 07 said:
Driving around my old hood in JV when I'm home visiting my folks it's crazy to see all the houses that have been lifted 3 or feet in the old part of the city.

I'm surprised Ferris Wheel isn't in a nursing home already. Wasn't he like prime bar age in 2004? The dudes an ancient relic
I was just at the scene of the fire. I am grateful to all our first responders from various agencies who are working very closely together, as well as to Mayors Mouton and Rigby who, along with their teams, have been leading the response.

This doesn't seem like a 'first responder' level task though.Quote:
Once the fire looks to have been extinguished, first responders will use a flare gun to attempt to re-ignite the site and verify that there is no more product coming from the area that could re-ignite.

The term first responder seems overly inclusive and overused these days.
