anyone got a rec for a car service that does patient transports?

have a family member who will probably need to get dropped off and picked up post op. would prefer not to use on uber and arrange something a bit more formal/dependable,. kinda need to have something that can be confirmed ahead of time but flexible as we don't know the time they will ask for them to arrive for the procedure or be discharged after.

Id look into non emergency medical transportation (NEMT). Careflite does it but you might have other options via insurance.

I don't think you can discharge directly to an uber or cab. You need someone's name to sign for you, even if that person isn't a driver. So I think you're going to need a medical transportation company anyway.

yeah, that's what i had heard. have not had to deal with it myself before though.

will explore some of these options provided.

At this point, take PTO and bite the bullet. I am sure your relative will be thankful.
