Anyone else's allergies completely explode around Friday and not yet stop? Driving me insane.

First fall front came in. Have a dose of early season ragweed pollen suspended in dry air.
Yep, hit me and my daughter pretty good, but feeling much better now.
not in the last 10 years since finishing my rounds of allergy shots!
When the cold front came through with the windy days the allergies ramped up. but it's been better now.
Must be nice. I have had terrible allergies in Houston for years, yet I can't get a doctor to refer me to a specialist or get allergy shots. I had one give me two different powders from a compounding pharmacy that I was supposed to use in a Nettie pot every night. But that's about it.
I'm about to switch insurance (again), so I will see what happens. I'm definitely bookmarking that page, though.

I'm on allergy shots, and it's still bad. Same with my wife.
Before allergy shots, we were absolutely miserable in the Spring and Fall. now, we can at least handle it with OTC meds and some sucking it up.

I'm getting smoked. Regular flonase and zyrtec haven't been able to keep up. About to switch to missiles and do a round of Mucinex D to clear me up.

No major issues since I started using Benadryl at night.
It's really early for ragweed if that's the issue.

Only otc allergy med I like is Alavert. Been trying for over a week to find any. 3 Krogers, Walgreens and an HEB no luck.
