I'll be there on Monday. Can't wait. Already told my team to plan a long lunch and get their kids out of school for it.

Could not believe the amount of people that showed up in Spring to see it. Had to be in the thousands. Not a train guy at all but had to stop and check it out

Doesn't this train come ever year or every couple of years?

I think this is the third time since it went on tour in 2019. Still badass to see in person. It's enormous.

I was there with my daughter. Crazy how many people showed up. Think I was on the less populated side as well.

I just happened to be leaving HEB with my boys when it was stopped behind star pizza on Saturday afternoon, so I threw them in the car and raced the train to the station. We pulled in, and got to watch the train pull into station with about 20 people. My boys got to be on the fence line and see it running. We swung by yesterday afternoon to see what was there and basically from B&B butchers to the Post, there were cars and people everywhere. It was not worth it at all. I'm just lucky that my boys got to see it.

It was crazy packed in Old Town Spring. So I went a little further down the tracks where nobody was.

I used to work in the train yards here in Houston and never got to see this guy up close. Even the modern engines are loud and feel ginormous (to my 5'4" frame anyway....it's a big step up for me to even get on them). I can't imagine how massive and loud this thing was.
