I voted early today in Cypress, and the blank piece of paper that I received had a "TEH" written on the bottom right corner of the paper. I looked at it and the lady checking me in said that was the county clerks initials. It just seemed odd to me that was on the ballot.

I asked my wife if hers had "TEH" written on it too, and she said it did.

Did everyone's ballot in other parts of the county have that also?

Mine did. Voted off of South Main.

This is required per State Law. During EV it has to be the County Clerk's initials (Tanisha E. Hudspeth) and on election day it has to be the election judge's signature.

The County Clerk issued a statement on this because there was some lie going around that writing on the ballot voided it.
