I don't follow him closely but know he does pretty big arenas and just figured he's too big for Rodeo. But, I haven't seen him swing through I don't think.

could be wrong, but I would think he's way out of HLSR price range for a one night only show with pre set ticket prices. He'd be losing money playing the rodeo

That's my assumption as well.

He's selling out football arenas on his own but maybe Rodeo got him on a deal before he totally blew up.

He was getting popular, then got blacklisted for a while, but is back big now.

It's the same old classic acts and not really a fan of any of the up-and-coming.

Last year I was pretty excited to see Jelly Roll, Hardy, Lainey Wilson & Whiskey Myers on the line up for up-and-comers.

This year, Parker is the only one I'd consider going to see even though I saw him the 1st time he played the rodeo.

Myself, Im looking forward to seeing Charlie Crockett.

He's great, but not sure how he will play at NRG. Hopefully it won't be a repeat of Leon Bridges, which was a great show that almost no one saw.

I would see Cody Jinks before Parker any day, but opinions vary

I'm not knocking him at all, but you could also see him at Kenney store for $40 with 100 other people total. Not sure he translates to the big stage inside NRG very well.

WTF, when was that? No idea how I missed that; I even get the Armadillo Palace emails to watch for upcoming shows. Knew about the other show but passed on the journey. Would've been happy to pay more than 10 bucks to see him at Armadillo. Most of their no-name shows are in the $15-25 range; you sure about that price?

*ok, I found the announcement post. It was a surprise popup in show for the new album "$10 Cowboy," hence the $10 cover. I bet I did something much more exciting on Wednesday May 1.
