Zach Top
Warren Zeiders

Out of those, which 2-3 would be worth exploring and maybe going to see them at the rodeo?
Also, what kind of attendance will they get if the majority of potential attendees don't know them like me?

Honestly, most excited for Grupo Frontera. They have some bangers.
You must not follow country music. Several of these guys are "blowing up" and selling out venues as they rise. Yes, the rodeo's sweet spot is "up and comers" or old staple acts, and we riding a wave of "up and comers" in country music today.mnetop said:

One of the questions is, can they handle the huge space and stage of NRG. Some will and some won't.

this. i have seen some people i normally do not like put on an excellent show at the rodeo in spite of not really like their music, and i have seen some people i really do like end up deer in the headlights.
Was hoping Laynie was coming bsck because my girls wanted to see her. Nobody in that lineup that fill the niche she has created.

Yes, I was hoping they would get Lainey Wilson or Megan Moroney.
Last year, we went to multiple shows and my kids wanted to go last minute to Lainey Wilson (I did not know much of her music before) and she completely killed it. Was humble, thankful, and stilled "owned" the stage. Felt like she had performed to that size crowd multiple times.

Other than Shania Twain and maybe Clint Black the rest of that list are Hideout/county fair level acts.
Lainey will be in Europe so she was never going to come this year, hopefully next year.

Charley Crockett is great live
His music may not sound exciting or captivating especially on your first listen but damn his live shows are really good and a lot of fun. He's a showman for sure.
And while he isn't gonna sell the place out I think it'll be a good show that people will enjoy.

The annual obligatory San Antonio Rodeo lineup is better than the HLSR lineup.
