Given the growth across the Houston area and the importance of this loop - it's either time to take down the toll booths or redesign them such that there are no dividers. Imagine how much congestion would be relieved by simply removing them. I know it's not going to happen /windfall to the city/ but given the current (and projected) growth of this city I wish there would be at least some consideration. Still a cluster f*** after they removed the manned toll booths.

Hell half of if them aren't even open and are just closed lanes. It's been that way for 5 years

Project would probably be moving faster if the budget wasn't raided to build sidewalks along the Beltway and plant crime fighting trees.

The work to replace the feeder roads is the advanced work for this. Some areas are getting more lanes.
