I'm inclined to believe they're just idiots who are ignorant of gun safety. I know more than a few people who had never held a gun before moving to Texas who went out and bought guns to start shooting and became enamored with it very quickly.

That being said, I do agree that a deeper dive into the associations of these men might be warranted.

No hard info but some guys at my church last night were talking about this and were saying that people were recording it but no one stepped in to try and stop it (not a surprise). Also, they were saying that no one is helping the police who witnessed it.
