We make fun of Altimas with either no plates or paper plates. But then why do I sometimes see Teslas with no rear plates, or even a paper tag hanging in the rear window. I know they don't have front plates by design.

Since Tesla doesn't have traditional dealers, new ones can't get the standard 60 day temp tags that other cars get from the dealer. So they get the 30 day tags, for which the rear window is the correct placement.lancevance said:
