Yes, that was their whole deal. Financing for folks that couldn't get financing. Then reselling when they inevitably defaulted. Then reselling when they inevitably defaulted. Then reselling when they inevitably defaulted.

I've been out to Colony Ridge for work.

Development client of ours was looking at buying a bunch of homes/lots and we did the due diligence for the purchase.

It's an odd place that's for sure.
