Tressler does from time to time. I think I've seen some others in comments here and there.

It's leans a little left and the only admin I know of is definitely liberal, but doesn't seem to limit posting much if at all. The only person I know that he has recently was spamming the page with national politics stuff that wasn't particularly credible in my opinion. There's definitely some hard right conservatives on there.

Yeah, I have heard the person who runs the page is definitely left. And that's fine until that person who is not named and is not accountable bans/blocks people indiscriminately but you have elected "leaders" of the city posting his/her opinion on matters of public interest. It's not the person who runs the page I have so much objection to but the elected city councilman who posts (at least on matters related to city interest that he may have a vote on). Tressler needs to go as well (for other reasons beyond this).

Tressler is the only councilman I actually like. There used to be more mods on that page than there are now. Anything Tressler posts there is posted on Talk of League City.

Tressler loves to talk about how much he cares about what the residents/voters think and then when they pass a bond in an actual election, he (and 5 others on council) decide to delete one of those projects in the bond package just because they don't like it (years after the bond was passed and - presumably- the debt incurred). I do agree with a lot of his positions (even though he comes across as very arrogant), but that vote alone represented a single-finger salute to the voters of the city. He needs to go. He shouldn't be posting on closed sites at all (on city matter anyway); in my opinion. Post for all to see or don't post at all. You're an elected councilman.

Meanwhile 11 Teslas at target had all their wheels stolen on valentines. And of course the cameras at target didnt work.

Hicks posted a resignation letter this morning on his Facebook page. I just saw that the rest of the council was set to hold a meeting this week to censure him and officially call for his resignation.

Glad he stepped down. Disappointed that there will be no apology for his interactions with the PD and statements about the chief. Also wish we could have seen how Cones and Mann would have voted on the censure.

They'd have to be braindead to do anything but vote for it.

They never used it. I think they were trying to lease it at one point, but there are currently Amazon trailers in there.

Yea I have driven past it a lot and never saw anything in the parking lot besides those teslas. I drove past it yesterday but somehow missed those Amazon trailers. It's such a blight imo.

Apparently he retains office until a special election is held and someone else takes over. Too late to have a special election in May so he can stay in office for quite some time. Whether he will or not is TBD...

I doubt very much he stays.
