I am looking for a dentist in Katy. I want someone who treats conservatively and doesn't recommend unnecessary procedures. I have seen older Texags posts recommending Welch Dental (Dr. Hearrean and Dr. Ho). Does anyone see either of these docs? Thanks in advance.

I have used Crabtree Dental for 30 years. Very nice family run practice on Westheimer Parkway near 99. I take good care of my teeth and do not need much extra. I have even told them no on x rays as I do not feel that I need them every year and they haven't made a big deal about it.

I just started going to the dentists at Wilson Dentistry (on Highland Knolls near 99) after many years seeing my family (literally, my uncle) dentist, who recently retired. No complaints about Wilson Dentistry.

Katy Oaks Dental. I switched to Dr Fleury EXACTLY for the reasons you stated. Twice this has happened to me (My old dentist retired and sold the business to a new firm which immediately started the upsell). Dr. Fleury will only tell you what you need and not upsell.

I got to Bethke for that exact reason. Old Dentist said I needed to rework some fillings. Bethke said it's only cosmetic he wouldn't do anything.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, my doctor retired as well. Finding a dentist who will act conservatively is challenging.

We use Cinco Dental and they've always behaved conservatively. Dr. Fey has recently retired and sold the business and the new guys seems to act in a similar way.
