Yes, but this guy is interrupting the flow of income to HPD.
It's not income to HPD.
It's outrageous amounts of OT income to THIS PARTICULAR COP. Plus I think that OT gets calculated into their retirement.

Hahaha some of you guys acting like that overpass needs a runaway truck ramp crack me up. It's not THAT difficult to control your speed there… settle down.

I do agree that speed trap is bull**** though. They've been doing it for years… they got me years ago. You learn to be on the ball at the overpass and move on.

Yeah….having lived in that neighborhood the speed trap is brought up weekly on the neighborhood social media pages. "I have to ride the brakes the entire way down" is brought up every time and always just gets an eye roll out of me

it's not that but do you think in a city like Houston this is the major issue? Maybe they should be worried about other major crimes that occur where they mostly show indifference to victims and actually solving the case?

They don't' care about public safety they know mostly the people in that area have the means to pay the fines, they don't' do this **** in the 5th ward.

Someone's family member would probably be cut out of the deal. Cant have that.

I dont ask for much but having my trash picked up on the scheduled day would be appreciated, hell, being picked within a scheduled week would be appreciated.

They been doing this stunt on the bayou bridges on TC Jester and Shepherd for decades.

They don't even pull people over. They'll just stand out in the middle of the road and point at cars coasting down the hill.

Will have 3-4 cars at a time on the side of the road lined up.

They'll pop you for speeding ~5 over coasting down a hill and also try and rack up add-ons like no tint certification sticker and anything else they can possibly cook up.

They also like to camp out next to the underpass U-turn lanes off I-10W.

Drive as fast as you want down Cavalcade or Clinton Dr. though because you will never ever see a cop doing traffic in that area. The gigantic potholes are its own speed deterrent plus running traffic there is way too dangerous.

Soccer moms and people trying to get home from work are the low risk pay-pigs.

I agree… it's about as major of an issue as having to control your speed both up and down a fairly normal sized overpass.
