Seeing signs of foundation settling and need to get it addressed.

Looking for companies you may have dealt with. Aggie owned and operated always a plus.

Used Jerico for an evaluation, but didn't need any actual work done, good luck though

Was screwed by Jericho. https://texags.com/forums/61/topics/3158330

I'd use ST Construction. Keith Gartner

713-645-4824

If you want someone real cheap,
George Castillo
281-917-3774

I use him for rentals. He was half of ST Construction's quote for a slab foundation, but similar price for pier and beam.

Sand Tech/ST did a sub-slab drain reroute for me a while back and were awesome. I've recommended them to friends since but am told they're really busy and tough to reach.

DuWest Foundation is the best call and talk to Kenny or Jim Dutton the owners. You will thank me later.

Have you had a structural engineer take a look at it? Have any large trees close? I had classic signs of issues and had one come out and he found I was outside of the acceptable levels on one side of the house.

Instead of foundation repair right away, he suggested I try a root barrier on one large oak tree and have a few smaller ones and a large pine on that side of the house taken out (between me and my neighbors), and then give it 12-18 months. My neighbor was having issues as well, and we had them taken out and I had a root barrier put in on a couple trees in the back yard, and in about a year and with some good rain, the cracks came back together and doors work perfectly now and have been that way for a couple years, and I have no signs of issues.

Worth a shot before dropping that kind of money.

What structural engineer did you use?

Used this guy's dad when we were buying the place, but think he's retired. I called his son when I noticed issues and he was booked out with commercial stuff:

After I started seeing issues about 4 years in during the drought:
