I think they're open for lunch on Fridays. At least some locations are.

Not Richmond but just a little ways up 99 between Westheimer Parkway and Cinco Ranch Blvd is Perry's Steakhouse.

Hunan Garden Inn in Richmond! You want the best Chinese food on this side of town and walk back into 1988 then highly recommend.
