So far, the list and menus seem a little bit underwhelming. Though, I think they may still be adding some? As I write this, there are 239 restaurants.

Sal Y Pimienta in City Center is regularly one of my favorites for HRW, and their menu doesn't disappoint this year, either. Wish they had 4 courses instead of 3, though.

What do some of y'all see that looks good?

Just say no to marketing campaigns promoting terrible restaurants and unhealthy eating behavior.

Haven't done it in close to a decade, terrible service and clientele and the menu usually is very meh. Plus to one of the other posters points, it's a lot of courses

Sad to see that sentiment. We've found some good deals and have gotten to try some new restaurants on there before, though we're selective.

It's fun when you are in your 20s. Afterwards, how much you don't like HRW is a measure of how old you are.

Good to see the Salt Grass in Porter is on that list. Maybe I can find my way over there to try them out!

Always have had some good experiences trying new places at lunch during the week with a few folks from the office and enjoyed it Will likely do the same this year.

Exactly my thoughts. Fun to do in your 20s and almost 20 years ago when the city wasn't as crowded with people that cant behave. Now I just apply my general Houston rule of: if it is discounted or free, it is not for me….

I have come to despise Houston Restaurant Weeks since my birthday is in August. We will usually go out for a nice dinner, and we have to deal with the riffraff of HRW and the bad service. I feel like the waitstaff is usually in a bad mood from the crowds and/or light tippers.

Seems at most places it really isn't even that discounted anymore. Maybe a free dessert that I wouldn't order anyway.

Same thing as going out to eat on Valentines Day.
