Howl at the moon- Fun place that attracts the "wedding party" crowds. Get there very early/late or you will wait in line to get in. If you are from Dallas it is not as good as Petes piano bar.

The Tavern- Good luck driving a nice car there the parking is a joke. Its like hot magma came up from the ground and created an obstacle course. They have live music but is kind a "dump".

Maple leaf pub- Never that crowded and the happy hour / drink prices are high.

Last I saw, they were still hoping to reopen and get it worked out.

20 or so years is a pretty good run for a Canadian hockey bar in Houston.

If they had bigger TVs I think they could have survived. We are St Louis Blues fans but we only went there for playoff games just for the crowds. Wasn't that great for watching with the little tvs. Wish a Hockey pub would open up with bigger TVs. Like a Canadian version of The Phoenix.
