We found a puppy in Lubbock and she appears to be some sort of boxer or pit mix. She's very sweet with a playful (but KIND!) temperment! She doesn't look to be older than about 3 months and she has had a lot of time spent with her because can already sit and is ALMOST house broken. She was found wearing a harness collar, but has no tags and no homing chip. We have had no success in finding her owners.

Check with the local animal shelter to see if the owner might be looking for the dog!

We have checked with all local shelters, and no one is looking. The euthanize after 48 hours without an adoption here, so we are looking to take her to another city if we can't find someone here who wants her.

Lubbock has a no-kill shelter. I got my dog there, and he had been at that shelter for 5 months. Of course, that was 1997, so it could have closed.

I still have the dog, though. He's laying on the couch right beside me.
