So, I am just moved to Lubbock in July after I graduated in May and wondering what there is to do here. Other than drink, i havent found much to do. I enjoy hiking, sports, and hunting but dont really know any cool places up here to go. I have gone to Palo Duro a few times but that the extent of my excursions. Yall got any ideas?

Panhandle Plains Museum in Canyon (best regional museum in the US)

Hale County Farm and Ranch Museum, Hale Center (okay, it's pretty small time, but my folks are on the Board, so I have to plug it)

easy drive to Carlsbad Caverns, Big Bend, Ft. Davis, Ft. Concho, Red River NM, Ruidosa NM, White Sands, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Taos, etc.

oh and by the way, i have been the hale county museum, it was cool. I studied cotton production at A&M and really enjoy that sort of thing.
