...that finds that song on KLLL annoying as HELL?!? Its that stupid song by one of the DJs, Mudflap. For some damn reason, it comes on at the precise time that I wake up in the mornings. It just starts me off in a bad mood. Am I being unreasonable here?

I can't take the xx days until Tceh wins the national championship countdown anymore. No more radio in the mornings for me. Thank you iTunes.

Suzy, I've been living here for 11 years. The only way I survive is to completely ignore all local media and mentally move somewhere else. During work, I listen to KZNE on the internet. In my car I listen to satellite radio. I don't read the local paper, but get my news from national sources and the internet. Sometimes I will watch local news at 10:00 through the weather, and then I go to Sportscenter or somewhere else on cable. I've found those changes made a huge differnce for me.

The national championship talk will end when they make their trip up to Manhattan.

Yeah...I just need to block it out.

Another thing that annoys me are the ads on the radio. One of them concludes with "yadda yadda, do this or Chuck Norris will roundhouse kick you so hard that you'll turn into an Aggie." And I'm thinking, yeah, an Aggie that you'll call boss.

I'm almost out of here though. I just gotta hang in there for 1 more year.

I understand.....it sucks. I just pretty much get annoyed that they hate us here. I work in Ag. and up there are a few tech people in it. All the big wigs are ags and the tech people get pissed because they never have anyone up there, so if you are an aggie they pretty much hate you. It makes for nice meetings. Dumb Asses!

It's tough to block out-that's why you need 3 things-the internet-sstellite radio-and a remote control. It doesn't change the fact that it's a crappy place to live, but it makes it more bearable. We go to College Station for all the home games and 4 or 5 times more in the spring to see our girls. That helps too.

considering you guys talk so much about how "classless" tech...i'm sorry.. tceh fans are...you sure do run your mouths quite a bit as well. I was simply pointing out a fact that everywhere you go that is not a huge city, they are going to show some love for their hometown team.

Tard - your post makes no sense. You're talking about expectations (which we all expect to hear about Tceh up here, thats why the wise Ags have XM) and equating them to preferences. I realize there will be lots of trash said about A&M; it doesn't mean I have to like it.

And to compare apple to apples, I never heard about Tceh while at A&M except on game weekends. Here, I hear about "stupid Aggies" ALL THE DAMN TIME! Who has the daddy complex?
