I didn't know anybody was actually from there. Not really. I am not from there but go through from time to time. I helped with the wildfires there too.

I spent most of Christmas eve this year at the gas station in Mclean. The blizzard made it impossible to see. 9 hours to go 180 miles with 3 kids........fun times

My mom made it from Lefors down to Childress before they had to find a hotel.

My cousins used to own the diner in McLean. I lived there for a year once, but we are also from the big town just north of Lefors.

Eudell Gifford still lives in Lefors though.

My mom still goes up to their every 3 year HS reunion. The reunion is for graduates of all years. You can do that when you average about 20 kids per class.
