My dad and bro and i are thinking about putting together a 24 hours of lemons team. We are all in Amarillo, and my dad has a shop, my brother is a mechanic, so we have the basics taken care of. We need at least one, but prefereably 2 more team members. depending on when we get a car and how much we can get prepped will decide what race we are going to aim for.

Anyone in the panhandle area interested in joining a team? it will probably wind up costing everyone about 800-1 k a piece, and way to much time. but I'm sure a good time will be had and much beer will be drunk.

we are still looking for a car, so if you have any leads on a cheap vehicle, let us know.

I'm slightly intrigued by this. Do you have any more information on what this would entail. I am in Amarillo and don't have much to bring to the table except that I'm 6'7" and was good at mario kart back in the day

well right now we are dreaming, scheming, and looking for a suitable ride. I have a lead on a 76 nova with a v8 that I'm looking into, and also a stealth. Basically we are looking for someone to throw in a hand with the build. it doesn't matter if you have tools or know how, we ave plenty of both. just lending a hand and pitching in on the cost, and wanting to have some fun.
