Has anyone seen any baby pheasants this year?

My younger brother said that he hasn't seen any baby pheasants at all while plowing. I assume that it is just too dry out there for them to survive.

My reports are the same around the Hart-Nazareth area. No one is seeing anything on the ground.

Saw a few when planting Milo behind wheat on the neighbors. We are letting stock tanks over flow into the ditch for pheasants/deer to get a drink of water.

Going to have to convince the family to make the trek up to Kansas to hunt this time around. We usually hunt around the Kress/Edmonson area, but I don't think that will be worthwhile this year.
