There is so much beauty in the Panhandle. Very few people around Texas know about it. But Wyman captures it very well.

You should follow him on facebook. He posts great photos and tells you what camera, lighting, and other conditions he used.

Wyman is an interesting character. He used to live in Benjamin. Maybe he still does. I met him a couple of times years ago. Who knew he would become as big of a photographer icon that he is today.

I didn't know he was big. He's a friend of a friend, and I've heard him mentioned as being "good". I've seen some political discussions pop up on facebook with his name on them from time to time.

The vastness just takes your breath away. Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Wyman still lives in Benjamin. He lives in the old jail in the middle of town.

His wife operates a boutique called Santa Fe on the Brazos in Benjamin. She carries stuff gals like (jewelry, clothing, candles, etc.) and also Wyman's books. Wyman often stops by in the mornings there when he's not working.

Wyman does not live in the old jail. He lives in the house on the highway just north of the jail. The old jail is his. He uses it for people to stay in during his photo expeditions.
