If only that x would move up and be right on top of the Lake Meredith watershed. I am not complaining though it is nice to see this moisture!

I talked to a guy up there yesterday and he said he's seeing playa lakes that he's never seen before.

It's only been about 20 years since we had good rainfall.

We have had more rainfall since June, than we had from June 2010 through May 2014.

Lake Meredith has gone up over 20 ft this summer. ( so it is still about 60 ft low.)

Looks like the bottom for Meredith was about 2839 feet in August of last year. Currently at close to 2858, so about 19 feet. as you said. Full would be 2941, so still about 83 feet below the spillway. The sad thing it that it only translates to about 5% full.

The lakes that serve Wichita Falls are down to about 20%. They received no rain at all last week. A truly dangerous situation is developing.
