The National Weather Service (NWS) and Storm Prediction Center (SPC) continue the HIGH RISK (5) for a vast majority of the Panhandle and western north Texas.

This risk includes dangerously strong and potentially violent tornadoes for today. HIGH RISK (5) is a risk category reserved for only the absolutely worst-case scenario of forecasts. This is something to be taken very seriously
