Couple of good suggestions lately on the travel board.

I gave an itinerary on one, and one has a lot of links to New Mexico travel.

Six year old will enjoy a lot of stuff, two year old won't give a crap. When our kids were little, we'd go to a state park, and all they wanted to do was play on the playground equipment.

As said above, Palo Duro is great, but they are currently accepting only a limited number of online entry permits per day. So if you have a date in mind, get online and lock it in.

And that's the problem with a bunch of travel. In our area, PD online reservation only, Caprock Canyons closed, Buffalo Lake NWR hike/bike in only. Panhandle Plains Museum closed.

Things may change soon.

I wouldn't come anywhere near Amarillo. We're currently 4th in the nation for rate of infection growth. Unless you're one of those people who think this whole thing is a sham, then come on up. Our coronavirus is your coronavirus!
