These guys are really ticking me off. Alltell buys CellularOne. So now they are this "transition" mode. Alltell towers apparently won't come on line until at least November. Your CellOne plans are not supported anymore because those are all going to be going away. They have all different phone models, so whatever you had before will be serviced there but no gaurantees on warranties or parts. They will show you what the Alltell plans are going to be, but tell you shouldn't buy them until Nov because their towers are contracted right now and they can't gaurantee service (which I guess is better than just selling it to you anyway).

That sucks. Sounds like the new Alltel is no better than the old Cellular One. My parents switched from Cingular (SBC Wireless at the time) over to Cellular One for a little while several years ago, and it was flat awful. About half the time, you could call their phones and it wouldn't even ring.

And I have a year left on my contract!!
