It has rained just about every day or night for the past few weeks. I can't remember having this much rain, or this many days of rain in West Texas. Unbelievable.

It's been this way since December.

My wheat started laying over yesterday. I can't afford much more of this!

I am starting to feel real bad for all the farmers...getting close to that last day to plant. I do not mind the rain so much but all the hail we have with it is rough. Plus seeing a lot of flooding in some crops, which means a lot of wash away. here to hoping for some sunshine

Guys, it can be a great life, but it seems like the weather is going to get you sooner or later.

I'm not complaining about the rain up here in the Northern Panhandle. The corn and wheat look outstanding and we only watered each crop with an inch and a half of groundwater through the sprinklers the last 3 1/2 months. Talk about a life saver on the water bill. To some its a blessing and to others its a curse but for me its outstanding! I do feel for you cotton guys though.

Cotton deadline is rapidly approaching.

The sorghum prices are still great up here. Can you guys roll your acres to sorghum?

If nothing else, it is helping the pheasant population. Though my cotton farming friends are sweating a little.

Dry and very windy today. Would be nice if we could get about a week's worth of dry weather. I know, it sounds strange asking for that!
