I've seen a few eagles, and heard the first sandhills of the season about a week ago. Haven't really seen any geese yet.

I drove by a small pond I forgot existed Thursday, but didn't see any geese or ducks on it.
Even if there were, I seriously doubt that anyone could get permission to hunt on that pond.

Saw some honkers at the farm on Saturday. Small groups right now.
Say a group of about 20-30 near the confluence on Palo Duro Creek and Tierra Blanca Creek today.
