Most of it comes from talking with my uncles, one is a former Permian state championship quarterback, and stays involved with the program. The other is a baseball coach in Amarillo. We talk over email, or whenever I venture out west periodically during the year.

I'm sure if you searched the op-eds of the WT newspapers, you'd probably find some additional articles. But like I said, if nothing has been decided at this point, then I do not see a divisional format being established for at least two years (the next UIL realignment).

In Austin you know that some HAVE TO BE real sips, in Midland/Odessa I think only 3 or 4 people actually set foot on the 40 acres.
Yet 3/4 of the population in Midland/Odessa either has a baby poop orange t-shirt or a silver cowhead on the back of their vehicle.

Yep, I think thats where the "per capita" clause comes into play.

Or there's the few who think they are real sips because they went a semester and a half to UTPB or UTEP.
