Howdy Abilene Ags, George Flickinger here.
I've received several notes from folks wondering what's going on with my life and career. I'm a meteorologist for the NBC station in Tulsa, and I spent a lot of time "off camera" doing stories like this:

As you might remember, I'm from Orange, Texas (I was irritating enough to bring it up about 87 zillion times on air), and Hurricanes Rita and Ike both hit that area in the last few years.
My wife and I went to Orange to check on Mom after the hurricane, and the report above aired on TV in Tulsa.
I make it down to Abilene a couple of times a year to see friends and family (and eat rolls at Town Crier, and if you see me please come say howdy.
And I'll probably be cycling too, so hopefully don't run me over on Rebecca Lane...
