I filled up for 2.26 in San Angelo this morning.

Cheapest I have seen is 2.83 in my hometown. But then, we still have stations that don't have anything but Regular.....

Sams in Angelo shows it for 2.25. I saw it for 2.45 at the H-E-B in Abilene about a hour ago.

and as is usually the case, I filled up last Friday when it was still at 2.77. My 35 gallon tank.....dangit.

c-jags, what don't you understand about the word traditionally? Your 2.21 is an anomoly for now. Gas down another 6 cents since yesterday and will continue to get back to normal as the refinerys and pipelines fill up. (FYI, there are still gas shortages in Charlotte, NC, 5 hours away).

Also, I chose to leave SJT for a job that payed 60% more than may past job to start, my property taxes are 1/2 of what they were and my home insurance is 1/4 of what I paid in Tom Green County.

Lastly, I would be looking for a job now as the company I left shut down at the end of August, so I can see the sunsets when I come home to visit family and friends, but the savings I enjoy now outway the minor gas blip.

Got gas for $1.93 in San Angelo last night. Saw a discount gas station offer it for $1.84 with their discount cash card.

1.99 in Tomball where I am at for the time being. Can't believe it is cheaper in San Angelo.

c-jags, what is gas in Angelo now. From the online service it looks like 1.79. I paid 1.71 yesterday and in some parts of TN it is 1.49.

$1.65 in North Houston, probably some cheaper. I'm looking for a 1000 gal tank before it starts going back up again.

Well, it's alright for now. I took an 80% pay cut to move up here; but, there's some job possibilities, even in my field. I'm only working part-time for a school district right now.

The main reasons I moved up here were to be with my wife (she teaches up in this area) and to attend grad school and get my graduate degree in education and my teacher's certification.

1.65. was in Sacramento CA this weekend and those hippies were happy to have it below a buck.

paid $1.40 for it in Del Rio last week, and paid 1.56 for it in bryan about an hour ago

It's gonna be going up again if it hasn't already started to creep up. OPEC is cutting production by over 2 million barrels a day
